1st camping trip

Nothing New.......

For those checking in to see if there is any news on the boys, there isn't today. Still kinda waiting
on May 15th to see what that hearing is gonna actually be about at court. We still have to take some classes the end of this month for DHS. We are going to see them tomorrow night for a couple of hours to visit & play. If anything new happens, I will for sure post!!

Looking Back.......

This was our first official family photo together. We were so tired and didn't sleep the night before as you could imagine. Hard to believe it was 4 years ago. Seems like yesterday.
This is one of my most favorite pictures of Autumn the day after she came home with us.
I think she was a little over 1 day old here. So very sweet! I kept saying she looked liked cotton candy.
This is Autumn on the left & cousin Jaclyn on the right at my baby shower in Maumelle. I think Autumn was about a month old & Jaclyn was about 7 weeks here. Very sweet! Like twins almost.

The boys came over last Sat & Sun. Very busy household. No new news on that front yet. Autumn was riding her bike Mon evening & we played hula hoop a while. She's learned a dance routine to Hannah Montana song & it is so cute to watch her do her routine from class. Not much else new.

My day started out good as I went to ACH for the first time with Missy & her 3 foster kids.
Josh had a f/u appt & it all went good. DHS came by our house for our 1st of two visits. I am kinda bummed because we got an email from the court advocate who said we needed look into hiring an attorney & be present at the hearing on May 15th. The "other" interested family will be present on May 15th as well. They are from Colorado, but no one seems to know much about them at all. I guess the judge will look at all presentable families & go forward in that direction. See, we are still completing all the requirements & we're afraid we'll miss the deadline. But I keep reminding myself it's all in HIS will. We'll just proceed forward
and if it is not meant to be, than it is not meant to be. As Shawn said tonite, we feel like we spin our wheels sometimes & go no where. God never promised any of the hills we climb would be easy, He just said help will always come in time. And just remember when they say just give in, just hold on, our Lord will show up & he will carry us thru again! It gets so hard, but I must have Faith!, cause that's about all I have left today! :) Until next time, American Idol is on for now.
